We are extremely excited to be collaborating with local wellbeing specialist Bridget Rowan for some sessions across the summer!
Step into a deeply nourishing experience where mindful movement meets immersive sound.
The order of the morning;
We start with everyone arriving and joining together for tea and introductions before heading into a 1 hour Hatha Yoga session.
This gentle Hatha practice builds steady strength and flexibility through slow, breath-led postures- all held within the beauty of the natural world. Surrounded by trees and fresh air, you'll reconnect with your body and the earth beneath you.
Once the Yoga is finished we will take a break for refreshments and some delicious homemade cake. There will be time here for group chat or quiet contemplation with the option to take a wonder around the pond area to enjoy the beautiful backdrop.
After our break we will get started with the deeply relaxing soundscape, where you're bathed in the natural vibrations of gong, singing bowls, drum, voice and percussion. The sounds wash through the body, calming the nervous system and inviting profound rest.
We finish the session with a delicious grazing board lunch to enjoy and savour in the peacefulness of the surroundings.
Root into strength. Soften into sound. Leave renewed.
Included in the £55 ticket price;
- All refreshments, cake and lunch at the end
- 1 hour hatha yoga session
- 1 hour soundscape
About Bridget
Bridget has been teaching yoga for 23 years, guided by a deep love of the natural world and a life long dedication to practice and study. Her teaching is a reflection of lived experience - weaving together of tradition, embodiment, and reverence for nature as the ultimate teacher.
Since 2021, Bridget has also been practising as a sound therapist, integrating the powerful and transformative qualities of sound into her work. She feels sound is intrinsic to wellbeing- a profound way to restore balance, calm the nervous system, and reconnect to ourselves on a deeper level. Through instruments such as gong, singing bowls, drum, voice and percussion, she offers immersive experiences that deeply relax and rejuvenate.
Her intention as a teacher is to share knowledge in a way that empowers each student to know themselves more deeply and to move towards their highest potential. She believes yoga is not simply something we practice, but something we live.
Bridget will also bring along some of her home made lip balms, hand creams, muscle oils and samples of her face creams. These will be available to purchase on the day.
